Two Frontier teams finish No. 1 in state in...
Frontier won state academic team championships in boys cross country and girls basketball, the CIF announced this week.
The Titans’ boys cross country team had an overall grade-point average of 3.89 and the girls hoops players averaged 3.92, the highest in the state in those sports.

The 101st Annual Dipsea
Bakersfield Distance Projecter Stephen Humphreys ran his first Dipsea and came in 846th place (out of 1328) in a time of 1:43:02 on the famed Dipsea course. The race is a handicap race where your handicap is based of your age. His actual time was 1:23:02 and he placed 787 overall on the 7.5 mile trail race from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach.

Shawna Rountree (29) who ran the Bishop 50 miler in 10:38 two weeks ago,was the 3rd women overall in a time of 3:16:26. The official results show her as fifth but they are wrong because the first and second women did not run 2:07 and 2:20. Rey Rodriquez fell at mile 16 but continued on and ran 4:41:31 for 124th male.
