From Mic Hall, race director for the Fog Run, which is on 1/7/12:
On Wednesday, 12-28 I chalked all the intersections of the Fog Run course for those that might want to do practice runs on it. If your not familiar with it, start
in the west parking lot of Lake Ming and start around the lake in a clockwise direction. You’ll be on a dirt road and turn right on the bike path. At the east
end of the lake, cross the frontage road (careful, stopping for cars) and continue east on the dirt road that parallels the golf course fence. When you come to
the frontage road again at the overflow parking lot, get on the bike path and head west. This takes you back to the lake and around it counterclockwise. At the
… west end of the lake where you got on the bike path, 5K turns left and returns on the dirt road to the parking lot and finish line. 10K continues on the bike path
to the road crossing. Turn right and stay on the shoulder of the road until it turns to enter the campground. Get on the dirt road that proceeds west on the south
side of the campground (keep the campground to your right) Stay on the dirt road as it parallels the river past CALM and along the water settling ponds to the bike
path(by the soccer Park.) Turn left on it (south) and proceed for approximately 100 yards. The course follows the dirt road to the east, up the hill and between the
boulders and to the bike path. Turn left on the bike path. Follow it east, careful crossing the road, past CALM, down the hill, past the campground back to the dirt
road at the west end of the lake. Turn right on it and proceed back to the parking lot and your finish. See you Saturday, the 7th.
