Stockdale distance runner Miller commits to Stanford
Cameron Miller, a Stockdale senior and The Californian’s Cross Country Runner of the Year, gave a verbal commitment Thursday to run at Stanford.
Miller, who placed eighth in the Division I race at the CIF state championships in November and sixth at the Foot Locker Western Regional last month, had listed the Cardinal as his top choice all along; when Stanford informed him Thursday he’d been accepted, he offered his verbal.
Verbal commitments are non-binding. Miller can sign a national letter of intent starting Feb. 1.
