Be sure to keep an eye on “The Kid” as well; Stockdale newbie talent Blake Haney has been on fire in recent weeks, including a state freshmen record 4:12.34 in winning the Central Section Masters title on this same Buchanan track two weeks prior. The precocious 15-year-old is one of only two ninth-grade males competing in individual action this weekend!
